Teaching Anti-Bias Values in Education: Community Engagement

Students can demonstrate deeper understandings of tolerance, equality, collaboration, and community, and ‘own’ their power to become change agents and change makers in society- starting where they are. A core component of anti-bias education is learning to take action against exclusion, prejudice and discrimination; it can be especially powerful for students to do this in their own schools and local communities.
